As freaked out as I've been feeling about this whole process, I saw a commercial for a Tour de France cycling show on cable last night and realised I'll be living in that crazy beautiful country very soon.

i'll let you know after Monday. potential big deal going through. fingers crossed everyone! i'm going to take my mind off things by going out to karaoke this evening (i wish you could come!!) getting inexorably hammered and making felafel at some point. possibly not while hammered (though you never know!)btw do you think France has karaoke?? is it all Frere Jacques, Ca Plane Pour Moi and Edith Piaf??? inquiring minds want to know...
I must investigate the french karaoke scene thoroughly. maybe they don't have it -- could be a deal breaker.
